Ossabaw Island

Ossabaw Island is located 7 miles (accessible by water only) south of Savannah.

It has approximately 9000 acres of pristine Georgian land.

This "hill" is actually about a 20 foot high pile of sawdust,

leftover from the old logging days.

Armadillos only arrived on Ossabaw for the first time in 1994.
